October 10 years ago, JazzArts Charlotte became official by electing its first Board of Directors. These individuals tell a story of dreams and determination.
More than a music camp
“We have five days to turn on the light bulb and get these students excited about jazz,” quipped Camp instructor, Dr. Michael Hackett. JazzArts Music Camp is about two things: building skills and building relationships.
Music can bloom unexpectedly
