WeBop

The ABC’s of Jazz, for preschool children age 2-3.5

Swing with your little ones in jazz classes for preschoolers and their parents/caregivers.

Coming Spring 2024!

WeBop is Jazz at Lincoln Center’s award-winning early-childhood jazz education program for little ones and their parents/caregivers. We strongly believe in children’s natural ability to improvise, and we are committed to exploring their creativity through fun interactive classes!

This Fall, JazzArts Charlotte will offer a “Stompers” (ages 2-3.5 years) class. The curriculum is customized to build on the developmental strengths of the students.

Stompers (ages 2-3.5) Wednesdays, 11:30am-12:15pm

Over the course of this interactive eight-week term, you and your child will explore core concepts of jazz such as swing, blues, improvisation, and other jazz essentials. Together you will develop your imagination, creativity, and musicality while swinging nursery rhymes, singing the blues away, scatting like Ella or improvising like Coltrane, and of course jamming with a live jazz band!
