2019 marks the 10th year of service to the Charlotte community for JazzArts Charlotte, formerly Jazz Arts Initiative. We are proud to continue our work as the premiere jazz organization in Charlotte with our focus on community enrichment through quality music education, live performances, and musician support.
In the past decade JazzArts Charlotte has grown into one of Charlotte’s most celebrated non-profit arts and education institutions. Our goal is to continue to serve this treasured community for many years to come.

Announcing Regional Premiere Screening & More for Black History Month
This week was the anniversary of the first sit-in, right here in Greensboro NC, For Black History Month, JazzArts Charlotte, seeks to offer a lens of jazz and civil rights history to illuminate the efforts of the past and demonstrate their impacts and messages for today, with workshops and a culminating performance of the groundbreaking album "We Insist!"
