Beginning July 1, Lonnie Davis takes on a new role as President of the Board of Directors for the leading jazz organization in the world, the Jazz Education Network.

JazzArts Charlotte is proud to be a recipient and member of South Arts’ inaugural cohort of Southern Cultural Treasures, a multi-year initiative funding 17 BIPOC arts organizations across the Southeastern region with $6 million, in partnership with the Infusion Fund.

JazzArts Charlotte is one of five organizations to receive a substantial multi-year grant from the Knight Foundation in order to continue to make the most of digital opportunities to engage and build on their audience.

JazzArts Charlotte is excited to announce the launch of nine new fall online jazz workshops to provide students and adults alike new opportunities to develop their musical skills, beginning the week of September 21.
