This week, JazzArts Charlotte and Curtis Davenport welcome special guests we have often enjoyed in the JAZZ ROOM: vocalist Dawn Anthony, pianist Sean Higgins, Jr., and saxophonist Greg Jarrell.

Dawn Anthony, vocals
In addition to her vocal talents, Dawn is a music educator whose drive to help others explore their gifts has extended into a children’s book and musical, “The Gift Way Up in the Closet.”

Sean Higgins Jr., piano
Pianist, composer and educator, Sean is an international touring and recording artist with 3 albums under his belt. He’s classically trained, and explores genres including R&B, pop and fusion.

Greg Jarrell, saxophone
Community activist and jazz musician, Greg is the co-founder of QC Family Tree. His music, his book “Riff of Love”, and his organization explore the life challenges of a local community.
