Introducing Charlotte’s newest Latin jazz sensation, JazzArts Nuestro Tiempo Youth Ensemble.

This new ensemble of student musicians has spent the past 12 weeks delving into the unique rhythms, instruments, and patterns of Latin jazz, and is ready to present to you a variety of traditional Latin and Cuban jazz tunes that will keep you dancing.

They performed in front of an enthusiastic crowd of hundreds at the Havana Night Festival and are excited to again share with you the culmination of their work and fun.

The Latin Jazz Ensemble performs at the 6:00 Pre-show Reception for the 2022 Cine Casual Film Series, a film series presenting recent, internationally acclaimed and award-winning Latin American films, specially curated for the Queen City. June 17th presents the film “Perfume de Gardenias” at 7:00pm.
