JazzArts Charlotte Kicks off 15th Anniversary during Jazz Appreciation Month. JazzArts Charlotte – the only non-profit organization in Charlotte-Mecklenburg centered on providing jazz education and live jazz performances – kicks off its 15th anniversary with its signature concert series, the JAZZ ROOM.

The JazzArts Academy is in full swing this Spring! We are thrilled to welcome over 50 students in our Youth Ensembles + Workshops program and over 20 students in our Nuestro Tiempo Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble this session!

Thanks to a continuing partnership with The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), JazzArts Charlotte is bringing back Ride with the Music, a free concert series featuring local performers at various CATS locations on Friday evenings from October 13 through November 3.

From an iconic jazz labels’ newest legend and a millennial shaking up the jazz world to a group preserving the past an innovative modern jazz guitarist, Season 19 of the JAZZ ROOM has something for every jazz fan. this season features diverse talents representing a wide range of artistry in modern, traditional, and international jazz.

JazzArts Charlotte and The Mint Museum are proud to present THE JAZZ ROOM: An Evening with Branford Marsalis, Romare Bearden Revealed, 7 p.m. Sunday, May 14 at the Knight Theater in uptown Charlotte.
