A master musician for over 40 years\, Ron has received seven awards as Jazz Artist of the Year by Creative Loafing Magazine and three as Best Bass Player by Charlotte Magazine. An innovator on bass guitar\, not only has Brendle played on over 50 albums but has released close to a dozen albums as a leader and has played on record and stage with the likes of legends Mose Allison\, Dizzy Gillepsie\, Hank Crawford\, Sheila Jordan\, Frank Kimbrough\, and many more.
