A graduate of the University of Tennessee and Michigan State University\, he has toured internationally with artists including Samara Joy\, Jazzmeia Horn\, Rodney Whitaker\, and The Baylor Project. His debut album I Owe It All To You on Posi-Tone Records earned 4.5 stars from Downbeat\, which praised his artistry as “a pianist who seems to have no weak points.” Allison has performed at premier venues and festivals worldwide\, composed for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra at Wynton Marsalis’ commission\, and is a proud Yamaha artist. \nThis applied workshop is open to middle and high school-aged musicians\, with at least one year of experience on their instrument.
