DESCRIPTION:Join us as our young ambassadors of jazz\, the JazzArts All-Star Youth Ensemble\, perform a special evening of music for one night only.  Possessing a musical maturity rarely heard from high school musicians\, the All-Stars will feature renditions from some of your favorite jazz icons\, such as Thelonious Monk\, Cole Porter\, and John Coltrane\, including the All-Stars’ original compositions from their 2019 repertoire.  Come out and support the future of jazz and the JazzArts Academy scholarships program. \nPremiere Thursdays presents a fresh and carefully curated kaleidoscope of exclusively themed programming for one-night only\, or as a “premiere” to the popular JAZZ ROOM weekend shows. \nThe JazzArts All-Star Youth Ensemble is composed of some of the Charlotte region’s brightest talents\, including dedicated student musicians from a variety of middle and high schools.  These skilled young artists play in venues across the region and continue to earn accolades wherever they perform. \nBand members include:\n\nDJ Bellinger (drums)\nLovell Bradford\, Jr. (bass)\nVeronica Leahy (saxophone\, flute)\nTaylor Scott (vocals)\nAron Stornaiuolo (guitar/vocals)
