DESCRIPTION:Join us for Piano Night at The JAZZ ROOM on August 18th and 19th\, featuring world-renowned pianists Peter Martin and Adam Maness. These St. Louis natives bring a rich tapestry of jazz\, steeped in their versatile musical backgrounds. Witness Martin’s Grammy-winning prowess\, cultivated alongside jazz greats like Dianne Reeves and Chris Botti. Experience Maness’s broad-ranging artistry\, nurtured through collaborations across genres. Don’t miss this unique convergence of piano virtuosity! \nAfter launching an educational video podcast\, 2-Minute Jazz\, Martin launched a website\, Open Studio\, in 2011 that is a members-only jazz lesson site with video lessons and online master classes containing premium concepts and content. As Open Studio’s Creative Director\, Adam Maness develops the curriculum of all of the courses\, in addition to teaching his own popular course like Magic Voicing System\, Piano Fingering Independence and more. Adam is a versatile pianist\, arranger\, composer\, and producer whose performances\, original compositions\, and arrangements have been featured on numerous recordings and on national and international radio and television broadcasts.
